Torrance House and Calderglen Country Park
The Visitor Centre - Open throughout the year, with audio visual room, history room, gallery, souvenir shop and the unique "Hidden Worlds" wildlife experience.
Courtyard Cafe - If you wish to sit and relax with a cup of tea and a sandwich or perhaps something more substantial, you can choose from the range of hot and cold meals available at the cafe
Children's Zoo - This popular Children's Zoo has a varied collection of animals including goats, guinea pigs, snakes and owls. Don't miss the monthly "Animal Magic" sessions!
Play Area - Younger children will love the scramble nets, chutes and climbing frames, while for older children the more demanding adventure play area will provide hours of fun. The equipment also caters for children with special needs.
Events - Throughout the year there are a variety of events held at the country park including the Country Fair, and the Calderglen Classic Auto Rally. The ranger service also run a guided walks programme, open to all free of charge. An events programme is available free on request.
Nature Trail - There are over eight miles of nature trails at Calderglen, where nature lover and rambler alike can enjoy a walk through the woods or along the banks of the river Calder.
Ornamental Garden - If you're keen on gardening then this is a must. The park's horticultural staff are on hand and will be happy to tell you how to get the most from your own garden.
Ranger Service - South Lanarkshire Ranger Service are always on hand to answer any questions you may have about the history or natural history of Calderglen and the surrounding area.
Calderglen Conservatory -Take a break from the weather and visit the Conservatory with its varied collection of plants and animals from around the world.
